From the owner

Our beautiful ocean view apartment is situated in the traditional Berber village of Tamraght overlooking Taghazout Bay. A twenty minute drive from the seaside resort of Agadir and just over two and a half hours drive from Marrakech. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday or are looking to explore what Morocco has to offer this is the idea base.

The apartment is situated on the second and third floor and consists of:

Traditional Moroccan salon/living room with plenty of sofas, TV, satellite television, DVD player and complimentary Wifi
European/American style kitchen with fridge freezer, stove, microwave, kettle and cooking utensils. There is also a washing machine
A twin bedroom and two double bedrooms
Shower room with WC

On the third floor is the roof terrace with its kitchenette with stove, microwave, fridge and a shaded seating area and dining table
From the terrace you have wonderful views over the ocean and there are two sunbeds and chairs you will also find a small BBQ

The apartment is idea for those that want something traditional but with all mod-cons that today's traveller needs.

The village of Tamraght has developed over recent years and is popular with Europeans who love its charm. This is well away from the tourist resorts so don't be surprised to be woken by the sound of a cockerel! Within the village you will find several shops where you can buy basic provisions. There is a butcher and a chicken shop, bakers, telephone kiosk, internet cafe and several places to eat. Agadir is a short car journey away where there are several large supermarkets and a huge range of places to eat as well as the souk or market.

The beach stretches for some 10 kms and includes Banana beach, Imourane beach as well as Taghazout. At Imourane you will find sunbeds and parasols for hire and lifeguards on duty, the Atlantic ocean can have undercurrents and we would recommend that you swim in sight of the lifeguards. Surfing is popular all year around and during the winter months the waves can be incredible! Boards and wetsuits can be hired locally.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Matt (the owner) a message.

If Matt (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
