This is a family home built in the 70s, restored in 1947 It is located in a quaint little tea village called Kuala Terla in Cameron Highlands. The humble abode had previously hosted many good friends of the Chiang family, now with a platform like TripAdvisor, we look forward to welcome even more wonderful people at our doorstep!

There are 3 rooms in the unit:

Room A: 1 double bed - fit 2 persons

Room B: 2 twin beds - fit 2 persons

Room C: 1 bunk bed - fit 2 persons

*All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans/stand fans and power outlets.

Guests' privacy is our priority, this simply means that the space is available to one party/group of travelers at one time for exclusive use. Price is calculated based on the number of people staying (children of any age will be calculated as 1 person). So, please book according to the number of guests staying.

Other rooms will not be leased to other guests when you have booked a stay with us, even if you book for less than 6 people. For example, if you are coming as a couple, you would be able to choose the rooms that you would like to sleep in for the night.

Kitchenette:-

There is a fridge, a toaster, a microwave, a water boiler and other basic kitchen utensils such as pots and pans, half-boiled egg maker, plates, cutleries, coffee cups & glasses. Good for preparing light breakfast. Cooking facilities are available (light-cooking only). Complimentary Coway Drinking Water, Coffee, Tea, Milo & Snacks.

Free Laundry:-

Washing machine, laundry net, detergent, drying area, iron & ironing board are provided.

Dryer:-

Dryer is available for a small fee of RM10 per use.

Bathroom/Toilet:-

Towels, shampoo, shower soaps & hair dryer are provided.

House Rules

1. Please note that your check-in will be rejected (NO REFUND) in the event of the number of travelers arrived is more than number of travelers booked. So, please book according to the number of people staying (Any children is counted as 1 person). The unit can only accommodate max 6 persons.

2. Steamboat OR BBQ are ONLY allowed at the open air patio of our house with conditions (for guests with min. 2 nights booking only). Due to fire safety, you're NOT allowed to bring your own Steamboat/BBQ equipment. For e.g. electric pot, induction cooker, electric bbq grill, portable oven and etc ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you would like to Steamboat/ BBQ, please inform us prior so we can provide you with the equipment. Write to us to see what we provide.

3. There's a spiral staircase exclusively for your usage. Do take extra cautious if you are coming with children or elderlies. We shall not be responsible for any injury, accident, loss, misfortune or damage of any kind to any of the guests

Getting around

\\\ GETTING AROUND DAILY TOURS AVAILABLE: Daily tours pick up and drop off at our village available for Mossy Forest, Rafflesia, Tea Factory, Jungle Trekking, Butterfly Farms & so on. Guests can purchase at the ticket counter on arrival, located at a minute walk from our house. BICYCLE RENTAL: Bicycles for rent are offered right at the property. Subject to availability. LOCAL BUS: The Local Bus- Uniregal services the highlands from 7:30am to 5:30pm, on an hourly frequency. Schedule is traffic-dependant. TAXI: No Uber/Grab/Lyft in the highlands but we can call you a taxi a day prior (at trusted reasonable rate).

Why can't I call Bryan (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Bryan (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bryan (the owner) a message.

If Bryan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
