From the owner

Secret Island Resort is located on the south point of Gili Gede island, south west Sekotong, Lombok. It is a Eco friendly small Resort that loves to cater to folks that enjoy warm and mild sea breezes that usually frequent the pristine waters around the 12 south west gilis.

The rustic but very special bungalow over the reef is attached to a dock that leads back to the resort restaurant and facilities. There are presently two of these units but this listing is for the newer one that was completed last year. It is the one with the red roof. They are made from 100% re-cycled teak and other hard woods. Yes it has a normal toilet and shower. The shower is somewhat brackish well water so we do supply you with some fresh rain water for rising off also. There is a double king bed and a flop out sofa that thereby can accommodate 3 persons. If needed another extra bed can be added. You can swim right off the dock or fish. There is good snorkeling right along side the reefs edge. And there is really good snorkeling available by small boat trips out to the other outside gili islands here in the south west Sekotong, Lombok, Indonesia area. if you are looking for only 4 or 5 star full on luxury accommodation, this is probably not for you. Please have a look at tripadvisor for many excellent reviews.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
