Recently restored to the highest standards, the villa has an elegant style reflecting the personal taste of the owners who took care to preserve the original characteristics of the building such as wooden beamed ceilings, brickwork arches and terracotta floors in keeping with the architectural tradition of the Chianti area but with a special thoughtful consideration for all the modern comforts included the panoramic pool with Jacuzzi, the Wellness Center, air conditioning in all the bedrooms and internet connexion.
The Tuscan luxury villa is set in the open countryside just a few kilometres from the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and 20 minutes from Florence. It is the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday enjoying the splendid swimming pool with Jacuzzi and the delightful Wellness Center, but close enough to the city of Florence to allow you to spend your day over a tour of the museums or a walk through the roads of the shopping where the most famous brands await for you in the numerous shops of the town.
A restaurant room is also available in a separate building if the guests would like to take advantage of the cook who can prepare delicious meals for them upon request.
Acoommodation: The Tuscany villa is 480 square meters which extends over three floors. It can accommodate 16 persons in 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms plus 4 extra persons in the dependence with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom for a total of 20 persons.
Lower floor: this is where it is located the “Calidarium” Wellness Center. It has a heated Jacuzzi pool, sauna, automatic Shiatsu massage bed, gym, 2 showers and a changing room. The Wellness Center is accessible exclusively for your private use. Massages and beauty treatments are available on request.
Ground floor: a large paved terrace, once the farmyard, leads into a spacious living room which offers a truly unique warm atmosphere thanks to its characteristic terracotta floors and stone walls, wooden beamed ceilings, brickwork arches and the typical Tuscan fireplace. On this floor you can find also the fully equipped kitchen with French doors leading directly to the outside space organized to eat al fresco. Still on the ground floor you have another sitting area with fireplace and a large living room with fireplace too. There is also a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and bathtub, air conditioning, Internet access, satellite TV and mosquito screens. Both from the kitchen and from the various living rooms it is possible to access the outdoor areas provided with all the necessary equipment to enjoy your open-air dinners, as well as comfortable sun beds and hammocks.
First floor: there are 6 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. All the bedrooms have private bathroom, air conditioning, safe, Internet access, satellite TV and mosquito screens. All the bedrooms enjoy splendid views and have been furnished with very good taste in the elegant and romantic style typical of the noble Tuscan residences. On this same floor you can also find a large living room with a fireplace, a small kitchen and the games room with an Internet Point. From the salon a flight of stairs leads you to the last bedroom in the pigeon loft which offers a 360° view of the Tuscan countryside. Due to the particular characteristics of this bedroom, its private bathroom had to be positioned in a reserved area on the first floor of the Villa.
The dependence is 100 square Metres and it sleeps 4 persons. This cottage is the former barn, now an independent apartment adjacent to the main Villa. It is made of a kitchen equipped with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine; living room with fireplace; double bedroom; twin bedroom; bathroom with shower and bathtub and Satellite T.V. The cottage has a large loggia and private garden with direct access to the swimming pool. The dependence is only rented together with the main villa and not separately.
The caretakers live in a separate building beside the main villa and they are in charge of the garden and pool and, although invisible when not necessary, they will be available for you if you need help.
Garden and Swimming Pool: Villa Tavarnelle is situated in a green oasis surrounded by olive groves and vineyards extending over the famous Chianti hills. The views are just enchanting all year round and the air is filled with the fragrances of the flowers and the trees. The perfectly manicured lawns are dotted with colourful flowers and plants. Stone pathways cross this green velvet to reach the various parts of the park and the pool, which is set in a secluded area of the garden to the rear of the property. This impressive pool is completely covered with small white tiles, and some steps lead to a round Jacuzzi placed in an elevated position.
Garden furniture of the highest standards is spread all over the grounds to create several corners to read and relax in peace or have a chat or dinner in the open air. The swimming pool is fully equipped with sun beds, sun lounges and sun umbrellas. Here you can enjoy all the silence and tranquillity of a world apart far away from the stress and the frenetic rhythms of the everyday life.
