THE OLYMPIA PROPERTY:

Villa Olympia is located on north western part of Crete in the town of Tavronitis which is approximately 20 km away from the centre of Chania city. Modern design with magnificent views, private swimming pool and walking distance to the beach, tavernas and town. A peaceful area and yet close to the more active and commercial seaside towns such as Platanias Agia Marina and Kolymbari, as main highway junction is just 1.5 km away.

The building is 156 square meters in size, built on a 450 square meters lot in the year 2007. The private backyard surrounded by stone walls has a 30 square meters swimming pool with 0.7 m deep on shallow end, and 1.5 m in the deep end. There is a table for dining in the back yard under the shade of a huge pergola. Beautiful landscaped lot all around the building.

The two storey building has open concept living room, dining room and kitchen on the top level (about 50 square meters) along with a two piece washroom and air condition. From the north balcony you have a splendid panoramic view of the sea, Kolymbari town and Rodopou peninsula to the west of the property. There is patio table and chairs for those who wish to have their meals outside while enjoying the beautiful scenery and nice breeze from the ocean. On the south top level balcony you see the remaining town of Tavroninis on the hills, and the spectacular White mountains at a further distance away. Living room has the entertaining section where you will find a 40 inch TV connected to satellite with many international and local Greek channels. TV also connected to a DVD and CD player.

Middle level or the ground level of the building (about 50 square meters) contains two air-conditioned bedrooms, both having balconies, with one double bed in each room. There is also a washroom with a bathtub on this floor.

The lower level or basement is approximately 60 square meters in size, and has two bedrooms with two single beds each. There are ceiling fans in both rooms, while the larger of the two has glass sliding doors for viewing the front yard, and with aluminum shadows preventing any light going through. A washroom with shower also provided on this floor.

OLYMPIA IN TAVRONITIS:

Tavronitis is a town located on the junction for roads that lead south, west and east parts of Chania province. The town has a pharmacy, ATM machine, butcher, cafes, bakery, mini markets, bicycle rental place, as well as a good selection of relaxed tavernas. There is also a selection of restaurants and tavernas by the sea. In addition the fishing village of Kolymbari located just 5 minute drive west, has supermarket, ATM machine and also several restaurants where one can dine just a few meters away from the sea. Adjacent town of Maleme (to the east) has more ATM machines and a large and modern INKA supermarket for a wide selection of products.

The quiet area of Olympia allows guests to relax in the privacy of your own luxurious home with a lively swimming pool, visit the low traffic beach, meet with warm and friendly local people in town and try some of the best Greek cuisine in the nearby tavernas, all in a walking distance from Villa Olympia.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Basic house rules are to respect the property and its contents, no smoking allowed, maximum eight people, and no parties and pets allowed. Taxes and utilities are included in the listed price. Bookings are preferably to start on a Saturday or Sunday, but other days will also be considered.
