The Space

A nice and sunny apartment with private entrance and Private terrasse and everything you need for a great time on the island. A nice living/ kitchen, a bathroom, a comfortable big bed and lots of different places to sit (in the sun or in the shade). Breakfast in the sun is a delightfull way to start the day!

free parking, wifi, satelite TV, a washingmachine, a beautifull garden and a outside grill/ bbq area are at your disposal

Interaction with Guests

We do not live on the premises, but closeby, in the town of Tazacorte. We will be up on every so often to water the plants and attend to some chores.

You can ask us for anything & everything and we will help where we can. Tips for great restaurants, (almost) private beaches, wine bodega's and local beer breweries, mountainbike/ hiking trails, the list is endless....

The Neighborhood

The finca is situated in the midst of the plátano- fields just above the small town of Tazacorte (5000 inh.) This means that the finca will provide a quite, total private place for its guests!

But just a short walk down the hill will give you supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, medical center, public swimming pool, gym, town squares with kiosks that serve drinks & snacks, art galleries ..... and the beach (one of the islands best) is only a couple of minutes away by car. Swimming all year 'round because of the warm currents....

Getting Around

There is a public bus stop just on the main road (100m) right in front of the finca. Public transport will take you all over the island cheap, frequent and on time! A taxi stand is in the town below and only a short walk / phonecall away.

Other Things to Note

Wake up and have your breakfast in the sun and overlooking the great Atlantic, watch the falcons fly across the 'baranco' cliffs, looking for prey, enjoy the most amazing sunsets....

Good luck in future travels :-) Kind regards Paulien & Jos Small note about the sun at the back... during the months to come, the sun will hit the back and garden area earlier and earlier... in December/ January the sun hits that spot a bit less.

Why can't I call Jos (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jos (the owner) a message.

If Jos (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
