Your own stretch of wilderness river only 15 mins from Hastings St, incl kayaks. A true Australian property with house right on the riverbank in four acres of tall trees, five minutes to Noosaville. Long river frontages on two sides, state park on the third side and long bush drive in from the road on the fourth side.

Parents and kids love living on the river, in the bush, living in Australia as few do. Birds sit on the deck rail and fish jump in the river below. Breakfast on the expansive deck with the sun rising over the trees, the the birds singing at eye level and the paperbarks reaching for the sky.

Sit around a fire by the river cooking snags, under the stars and listening to the mullet splashing. Maybe the kids have a line in the river (fishing gear and 6 kayaks provided). Buy green prawns from Woollies delli counter to guarantee bites.

Expansive open-plan house opens onto "die-for" deck looking down on the river. We swim, fish and kayak from the house, in a genuinely wilderness like setting. Watch your kids on the fishing kyaks from your deck, then take the kyaks down river for some serious fishing.

Five minutes to the amazing choice of restaurants along the Noosa river (Noosaville), 15 minutes to ultra chic Hastings Street shopping and Noosa's renowned, sun drenched, main beach and surfing.

Kangaroos, kookaburras, water monitors and bush turkeys are resident in the adjacent national park (but please don't feed the friendly birds!).

Day trip to Fraser Island in massive 4WD buses, take the fast launch up the river to the Noosa everglades, visit Aussie World, UnderWater World and internationally-renowned Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast.

We provide two fishing kyaks, stand up paddles and life jackets for guests to lose themselves in the peaceful wilderness atmosphere of the river.

Many thanks for your comments and we have called a painter in to address your issues. We agree that the house is more suited for families and couples wanting a bush experience on the river near Noosa rather than a group cooking weekend, and note that you did not avail of the four kyaks, explore the river wilderness down to the lake, or use the fishing gear. Reflecting this, maybe the house was not the ideal fit for your party, although you did not raise any concerns at all at the times I called by! In regard to value we are really confident that, based on very high occupancy, repeat bookings and excellent reviews, we are providing a valued holiday opportunity in a pristine location. We would be delighted to fully refund the accommodation payment to us if you can identify any better value large three bedroom air conditioned house in the bush, with absolute river frontage and so close to Noosa’s attractions.

How do damage deposits work?

If Carolyn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
