Description of the property: Location: Veiðilundur, South of Iceland in Þingvellir 9 km from the National Park in the land of Miðfell. Distance from Reykjavik is approximately 53 km, a very beautiful location on the Shore of Þingvellir Lake. The property is easily accessible from road 36 and is on the Golden Circle route. Shops are located in nearby Selfoss and Hveragerði.
Facilities: This stunning property is 86,2 m2 with 3 bedrooms, living room, toilet with shower, hot tub, sauna, a 200 m2 veranda and large yard with playground toys for children. On the veranda, the lighted hot tub rests, with an outside shower and a beautiful sauna. Six chairs and outside tables are on the veranda with a Weber barbeque. Gate up to the property grounds is controlled by remote.
Other information: This beautiful summer house is extremely well located with a wonderful view over the lake, perfect for the Northern lights during fall and winter.
The facilities are very modern. The spacious kitchen is very well equipped with a stove and oven, large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker. Kitchen equipment and cutlery for 8 persons. The ample table and workspace in the kitchen are covered with marble.
The kitchen is adjoined to the living room together forming a large and open space where the living room windows go from floor to ceiling captivating the stunning view outside for the naked eye. A large double sliding door opens out to the veranda. Leather sofa with tables lamp and a large TV is in the living room. DVD player, satellite receiver and Netflix ensure that evening can offer you a nice time on the couch if that is the mood for the evening.
The toilet is spacious with a large shower, toilet, sink, mirror, cabinets and of course a hairdryer.
Floor heating is in the master bedroom, which is spacious with a large cabinet for the clothes (4 parts). Tiles are on the floor and thermostat is for the floor heating as well. The bed is Queen size (180 cm x 200 cm).
The room for the children is with bunk beds, double bunk beds on the floor and single on the top and can sleep, 3 persons. Another room is in the summer house which has a sofa bed which can comfortably sleep, one adult or two children.
Vehicle: 5 person vehicle can be provided by the owner of the house, call him directly for more information.
