Your Hosts, Kees and Griselda, welcome you to Monte Terras B&B and Cabinas and to beautiful Costa Rica. We are ideally situated to visit the Monteverde Cloud forest, Rincon de la Vieja, Rio Celeste and Tenorio volcano, Arenal volcano, several hotsprings, and of course lake Arenal itself.

Your cabin is situated in a beautiful garden where it’s nice and quiet. Simply enjoy the view while the birds and the squirrels will keep you company.

In your cabina you will find a comfortable queen size bed, as well as a private bathroom and a small kitchen with a refrigerator. Next to the kitchen you'll find a cozy dining area with garden view. Coffee and tea are complementary and you may cook yourself a dinner or enjoy a home made meal at our Rancho with spectacular views of the lake and volcanoes.

Outside awaits a cozy seating on the veranda which you share with your neighboring cabin and where you are protected from the wind. At lake Arenal there is always a nice breeze and the average day temperature lies around 76° F / 25° C.

We offer a breakfast service at your cabin as well as dinner in our rancho.

Why can't I call Kees (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kees (the owner) a message.

If Kees (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
