Interior: The cottage has a raised bedroom with double bed and cupboards. The main area is open plan and features a living-room with sofa bed and another bed stategically placed under the raised area along with more cupboards. There is one bathroom complete with shower, toilet and handbasin plus a separate toilet and handbasin. Hair dryer provided.
The cottage has recently been renovated in a traditional greek stone house and features much wood and attention to detail, designed to make your holiday a home away from home experience. It is fully equipped with ceiling fan, airconditioning, bedlinen and bath towels and wifi internet connection.
The practical kitchen has a gas hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and washing machine. All rooms have fly screens.
Exterior: The private garden has a shaded dining area under the veranda and bouganvillea and ample seating in the barbque area with spectacular views towards Eristos beach and up to the castle on the mountain above.
There is a private car park if you wish to hire a car or motorbikes, otherwise bicycles can be hired and it is just a short walk to the bus stop to take you all over the island.
Directly from the house, a forty minute walk will take you to the secluded beach of Scafi. Other beautiful beaches can be reached by road.
We live next door, so are available to give help and information whenever required, but are in no way intrusive.
Tilos is a small, charming Greek island with about 300 inhabitants and many more goats!
The cottage is a short walk from the main town of Megalo Chorio with its restaurants, supermarket and museum and a bus ride from the port of Livadia.
Crystal clear sea surrounds the island and you can choose between sand or pebble beaches, some with sunbeds, bars and restaurants, some completely unadorned as nature created them...
There are many walking possibilities - to beaches, castles and monasteries, through valleys and up mountains. The countryside and birdlife is enchanting.
We are more than happy to provide information and suggestions on escursions.
Please only smoke outdoors - and be careful not to set the island on fire!!

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jo (the owner) a message.

    If Jo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
