From the owner

The Lodge at Beaver Cottages, (AA 4* rated) is part of an old Cornish lodging house approx half a mile south of the historic village of Tintagel and close to the lovely sandy beach of Trebarwith Strand. The cottage lies approx 1/4 mile from the South West Coast Path via an old Cornish stile in the drive, giving great walking opportunities, Port Isaac (of Dr Martin fame), Boscastle, Bude and Bodmin Moor are only a short drive away.

The cottage has a new fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, a dining room with the original slate floor, a large lounge with 2 sofas (one a sofabed) and an armchair, a family bathroom, a double bedroom with ensuite and shower, and a twin/superking room with ensuite.

The cottage has a private enclosed dog friendly garden for guest use.

A shared utility room is available with washing machine (for a donation), a freezer and kitchen sink, plus body boards and beach toys.

All bedding, towels and central heating in the morning and evening in the cooler months, is included in the price. Dogs welcome.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nicola (the owner) a message.

If Nicola (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
