Welcome to William Orchards, a beautiful European villa nestled in the stunning untouched Valley of Lilies (Allikuzhi) near Chennai. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush mango groves, William Orchards is the perfect escape what-ever the occasion.

At William Orchards, you can enjoy a 15 acre grove of more than 40 different varieties of exotic tropical fruit and nut trees, including Mango, Cashew, Papaya, Coconut, Fig, Guava, Black Guava, Orange, Pomegranate, Passion Fruit, Grape Fruit, Custard Apple, Rambutan, Star Fruit, Water Apple, Jack Fruit and Bananas.

William Orchards started as a dream escape for a family of workaholics, but the more time the family spent in the Valley of Lilies, the more they fell in love with the idyllic surroundings, peaceful ambiance and the friendly people of Allikuzhi. The family became more involved with the local community and William Orchards quickly became a source of social welfare activities, including the expansion of the local school, engaging the retired and elderly residents of Allikuzhi and moving the damaged local church to a flood-proof area.

We invite you to be guests at our home and enjoy an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Valley of Lilies.

However, they have ensured that you will enjoy the care and hospitality of the kind and hardworking staff of William Orchards. You will enjoy Butler Services for 12 hours per day between 8am and 8pm, where you can request the help of the staff anytime that you need. After 8pm, our staff will be just 3 minutes away from the Villa. If you give them a call, they will come to help you in any unlikely emergency. Meal Timings: Meals will be prepared fresh and served at the following times: Breakfast: 9am Lunch: 1:30pm High Tea: 5pm Dinner: 8pm

House rules

Pets can be kept in a kennel outside the villa building. There is an additional charge for pets: GBP 15 per day per pet.

Smoking is not allowed inside the villa; guests can smoke outside. Using chewing tobacco, paan or illegal drugs are not allowed in William Orchards compound.

Guests can bring & consume moderate amounts of alcohol as our staff cannot serve alcohol. If guests bring alcohol, there is an extra refundable damage deposit of GBP 100 that has to be given on arrival to the Manager.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Namratha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
