Are you looking for a romantic getaway? Do you want to be off the beaten path and have a beautiful place nestled in the tall pines of Northern Wisconsin but still have easy paved access to the highway? Look no further, this is where you want to be!

Open Mid May to Mid October (weather permitting).

Minimum stay is 2 nights. During holidays and Harley Fall Ride, the nightly rate increases.

We are family owned and rent out a 1 Room Private Suite over the garage. There is one very comfortable handmade willow twig Queen Size Bed with a luxurious mattress and your own private bath. No one lives in this suite. It is strictly for guests to use.

It has a Kitchenette - which includes a small dorm-sized refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, large kitchen sink. There is a gas grill outside on the lower patio that the guests may use.

The suite is tastefully decorated with custom made furniture and Northwoods decor.

Free Wireless internet. Radio and CD Player.

Standard DVD Player.

Smart TV for APP viewing such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Standard Cable TV via the SPECTRUM APP on the Smart TV.

Shared land line phone with free long distance within the U.S.

Cell phone reception is spotty - best reception is outside.

Beautiful Stone Fire pit area. We have plenty of firewood for you to use.

We are located on Deer Lake, Lincoln County, which is a beautiful, clear, spring fed, deep lake with a shallow level sandy shoreline. Great for Fishing, swimming and boating.

Lake Size: 152 Acres, in Lincoln County. Maximum Depth 62 feet. 3 mile walk around the perimeter of the lake when there is a beach available.

Lake Notes: Specializing in Northern Pike, Muskie and Bluegill. Walleye, Large & Smallmouth Bass and panfish also caught.

Connects to Bridge Lake & Lake Nokomis via a man-made channel which is usually only navigable through early-mid July. After that, the water level in the channel is too low to get through with a motor.

We have a 2-person canoe and 1-person kayaks available for free use. Fishing boat, Pontoon Boat and Personal Watercraft rental is available at Tomahawk Sports Center in Tomahawk - 4 miles away.

Centerstone Resort is 2 miles away and has pontoon boats, and stand up paddle boards available for rent.

Plenty of room available on the beach or dockside for your personal boat. There is a nearby boat launch on Deer Lake. Access is on Crystal Lake Rd.

The owners live in the Main House year round.

The Suite is open Seasonally - May - October.

We are easy to find and accessible by highway. Our driveway is entirely paved.

Lots to do! Please visit the Tomahawk Chamber web site. There is a binder in the apartment with information and brochures on what to do, etc.

Annual Harley Davidson Fall Ride for MDA is in mid September which draws tens of thousands of motorcycles to the area.

There is a huge July 4th celebration/Pow Wow Days, and every month of the summer there are special events.

We are only 25 miles from Minocqua and other northwoods destinations are nearby.

Extensive ATV trail system is accessible from our area. You may bring your ATV's.

Motorcyclists are welcome!

We are 1.7 miles off the Bearskin-Hiawatha State Bike Trail. You can access it via back roads. We have maps. Bring your bikes!

We have 7 acres of woods and an additional 12 acres on Wurl Rd/Hwy 8.

You will usually see wildlife to view and photograph.

No public transportation or rental cars are available. You need to have your own transportation.

We are Strictly NON Smoking and NO pets.

We are Closed mid October to mid May. The weather dictates our opening and closing dates.

We ask that you please REMOVE YOUR FOOTWEAR when you enter the suite. There is pine tree sap on the grounds, along with other natural debris. We don't want it to get on the carpet and bedding.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Shirley & Monte (the owner) a message.

If Shirley & Monte (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
