From the owner

Vakantiehuis met 2 ruime slaapkamers (36 en 43 m2) met ieder eigen badkamer & terras en eigen opgang: geen verbinding binnendoor. Grote separate woonkeuken op de 1e etage, volledig geoutilleerd. Terrassen en patio met uitzicht op de bossen & bergen. Midden in de wijnstreek de Dão, in de natuur op 1 hectare eigen grond. Winkels, voorzieningen en restaurants zijn er binnen 5 kilometer afstand. Gebruik van zwembad (12 m x 4 m), zoutwater, met zonneterras en buitendouche. De accommodatie is het hele jaar door geopend en heeft horren en airco (verwarming/ verkoeling).

Lugar do Pégo heeft wijngaarden en wijnhuizen ´om de hoek´ en grenst aan de ecopista - een fietspad van 49 km zonder enig gemotoriseerd verkeer. Mountainbikes zijn te huur op verzoek vooraf. Op een kleine 300 meter afstand is het riviertje de Dinha, goed hoorbaar met haar watervalletjes. Verderop langs de Dinha en de rivier de Dão zijn er rivierstrandjes waar het heerlijk zwemmen is.

Ook gastronomisch is Lugar do Pégo interessant: op enkele kilometers afstand is een befaamd authentiek Portugees restaurant met Bib Gourmand (Très Pipos), op een kleine 15 kilometer afstand is de Quinta de Cabriz, ook befaamd om haar wijnen, en op een kleine 20 kilometer afstand is het prachtige Quinta (Mesa) de Lemos. Onderweg langs de ecopista zijn er diverse eet- en drinkgelegenheden.

Het vakantiehuis is een gerenoveerd vrijstaand deel van een landhuis dat uit twee gebouwen bestaat, en is ingericht op comfort en kwaliteit.

2 p kamer bg: 36 m2, toilet, bidet, wastafel, hidromassagedouche, boxspring met 2p-matras of 2x 1p-matras naar keuze, anti-allergeen, eigen terras, flatscreentelevisie, houtkachel. Airco. Gratis internet, gratis parkeren op eigen terrein. Uitzicht op de bergen.

2-3 p kamer 1e etage: zie 2 p kamer bg en bovendien een slaapbank (1.40 x 1.90).

De woonkeuken op de 1e etage: ruime keuken (27 m2) met airco. Houtfornuis, oven, magnetron, keramische kookplaat, vaatwasser, espresso-apparaat, heetwaterkoker, koelkast en diepvries, serviesgoed, 2 eettafels met zicht op de bergen.

Viseu is per fiets bereikbaar via de ecopista. Gratis WiFi in het hele complex. Handdoeken en beddengoed zijn aanwezig. Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein.

Wetenswaardig: iets verderop op het terrein staat het hoofdhuis, villa Lugar do Pego met eigen opgangen en terrassen. Geheel gescheiden van het vakantiehuis. Gegeven de hoogteverschillen op de quinta en van de terrassen die niet allemaal zijn omheind, is het vakantiehuis mogelijk minder geschikt voor jonge kinderen.

House rules

There is also a main house on the property, separated from the holiday home by a large patio. That is also for rent. Every room has its own entrance and completely own terrace (s). Lugar do Pego is non-smoking. Pets are not welcome. No parties, no visitors. Given the differences in height on the quinta and the terraces & the swimming pool that are not all fenced, the holiday home may be less suitable for young children. Swimming diploma highly recommended Swimming and staying at your own risk.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
