The house is of traditional build with the typical Abruzzo vaulted ceilings and marble tiled flooring and offers a comfortable welcoming base from which to explore Abruzzo and surrounding regions. You will be staying in the heart of a thriving agricultural village and within a stones throw of local amenities. At the top of the road is a breathtaking walk around the town wall to the old village centre where the local bars and restaurants will make you more than welcome. Fish restaurants are a speciality by the coast which is 4 kms away, they serve amazing fish dishes at good prices. You can relax or eat out on the terrace which has views to the sea and is a lovely retreat if you tire of the beach and sightseeing.
Within 15 minutes drive are the larger towns of Lanciano to the North and Vasto to the South. The village is easily found having access to the Adriatic motorway which is about 6 minutes drive away.
The area is agricultural with a huge variety of crops including of course olive oil and wine.

Skiing is available from November to April at resorts of Passo Lanciano and Roccarrosso amongst others. Check out the snow reports on line.
Visit between mid June and mid September and the beaches are in full swing. August is when the Italians are on holiday and many festas and events are organised for locals and tourists alike.

The house has an inviting living room and a well stocked and equipped kitchen/dining room. New furniture throughout and extremely comfortable beds. Good quality linen and towels provided. Outdoor dining on the sun terrace or on the front patio. The house has the traditional Italian shutters to keep the house cooler in summer. There are a stock of CDs and DVDs and a number of games to play. There is a BBQ on the roof terrace and the kitchen is well equipped for family cooking. There is a good sized fridge and freezer and washing machine. For winter the house is central heated but this is very rarely needed from May to November. For winter there are duvets. In summer, only sheets will be needed. Each room has fans for the summer months.

The apartment is the first floor of a two storey house and the entrance door opens to the staircase and hall.
There is a courtyard at the front of the house with a small lemon tree and sitting area.
The balcony has views over the valley to the sea and gives access to the sun terrace at the side of the house. The terrace is accessed from the living room and has table and chairs, parasol and sun-loungers so that you can enjoy al fresco dining or just relax.
On-road parking is available immediately in front of the house. The back of the house faces on to a small piece of land where the typical crops of tomatoes, peppers and herbs are grown and harvested. You can walk to the village around the village wall which has spectacular views.
