Description

This beautiful beach cottage is an oasis With polished concrete floors throughout the downstairs offers is a light and airy kitchen & dining; separate lounge/bedroom with double French doors opening onto the wide and covered north westerly facing veranda. Perfect for alfresco dining.

Upstairs the large open bedroom/parents retreat and lounge contains a Queen and very relaxing space with TV and fire place for cosy winter nights. You will feel like you are sleeping in the tree tops as the bedroom spills out onto a wide deck overlooking the peaceful gardens.

The property is set in a relaxed and established light filled garden with lots of lovely lawn which is shared with the main house. Very conducive to long games of Bocce.

The house sleeps 4 ideally but can comfortably fit another guest on a fold out bed.

For your comfort linen is provided however you do need to bring your own beach towels.

The property is fully fenced and therefore suitable for young children The Southern Exposures "Surfers Palace" is 5 minute walk to some great Bars, Restaurants and Cafes and approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre of Torquay.

We suggest you leave your car behind and stroll along the beach to everything Torquay has to offer; including the iconic surf stores Rip Curl & Quiksilver, the many great cafes and restaurants on the Esplanade, Torquay.

The owners can link you up with their property in Forrest (the heart of the Otway Mt Biking Trails) and put together a truly adventurous Great Ocean Road and Otway experience.

“Great accommodation in good location”

Short walk to the beach. Bit longer to shops so driving is easier. Lots of good local cafes and restaurants. Accommodation has unusual layout but works well, Great to have patio and balcony.

Nothing too much trouble for lovely hosts Bindy, Mick and boys. Great house, two minute walk from Whites beach and a two minute drive to Torquay town centre and further stunning beaches. Very comfortable bed, great shower and beautiful garden. Everything we could have wanted including wifi. Even Bella the dog was welcoming. Absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. Oh and one hour easy drive to Melbourne!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Bindy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
