A stunning home set on the sheltered side of the Aveiro peninsula, only 35-40 minutes by car from Porto

This beautiful home is now available for the discerning traveller who really appreciates luxury surroundings, furniture, paintings, decor and high quality equipment, set in a calm and wonderful setting.

Torreira is a small, but cute seaside town, with good restaurants, cafes and a great beach.

Nearby is the bigger town of Aveiro, often called the 'Portuguese Venice' with its myriad of internal waterways and the iconic boats that travel within (see pictures)

There is plenty to do, in the area, water-sports, fishing, cycling, boating, eating, drinking, etc.

It's location is ideal as a base to tour around the country with visits to Porto and Braga easily within reach as aday trips.The seaside resort of Figueira do Foz is also worth a visit

Essentially the house is on one level - has 4 bedrooms and a large office study and a spare room normally used for the housekeeper ( ideal for a single adult or older child)

There is a large lounge with fireplace and equipped with a Bang and Olufsen CD player & TV

There is also a 'quiet' corner - where guests can sit and read or can play a multitude of board games including chess and checkers.

On an elevated area is an excellent dining area, with comfortable seating for up to 10 guests

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that we can think of that you might need and there is a separate utility room.

The bedrooms are all a good size and are as follows;

Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom with En-Suite Bathroom

Large Double Bed -with TV and Alarm Clock/Radio - Dressing room/wardrobe

En-Suite - Wetroom style - finished in Marble - Walk in Shower - Spa/'Jacuzzi' bath

Twin Bedroom

This is the smallest bedroom. It has a single bed and there is also a good quality 'roll-away' bed (as per pictures)

The bedroom is perfectly suitable for 2 adults but we recommend its primary use for 2 children.

There is a bathroom with shower and again all finished in marble

Spare Room

Single bedroom with single bed - idea for single adult or older child

Study Office

The office/study is as per the pictures - it has a Bang & Olufsen TV and DVD player

There is also a desk and computer if anyone needs to keep up with work or simply wants to browse the internet.

Outdoor Area

The house has lovely open lawns looking out to sea. There is a large pool of 12 x 5m.

Nice quality outdoor furniture is provided and ample dining space for up to 10 people

There is also a bbq available

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
