In the grounds of Casa Siempre, a restored finca, La Casita offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation for people looking for peace and tranquillity surrounded by impressive scenery and wildlife.

River Ebro Holidays accommodation for your bird-watching, walking, or fishing holiday. La Casita a beautifully renovated barn in the grounds of Casa Siempre, only a few meters from the banks of the lower reaches of the River Ebro. We have our own private swim on the banks of the river Ebro for those that wish to fish for carp, barbel and the legendary Wells catfish, or you can just sit and contemplate the majesty of the river and surrounding mountains. But for anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy the leisurely pace of Catalan life you can come and simply chill by your own private pool.

Here at river Ebro holidays we have been living and working in the local community for 12 years and have a deep knowledge of the river and surrounding area. At La Casita your accommodation is self contained and private yet right next to our Catalan farmhouse. This offers not only the security of neighbors but because we are just off the main road there are no difficult mountain tracks to negotiate making access very easy day and night. You can park directly outside your accommodation so no lugging cases around.

We are happy to leave you in peace or share a glass of cold Cava and chat a while.

Tivenys is only 12 kilometers from Tortosa in the Province of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain on the banks of the idyllic River Ebro. It’s easily reached from Reus airport about an hours drive away and for sun and sand the lovely beaches of the Costa Daurada are just a short drive away. If you want action then the universal theme park Port Aventura makes a great day out for the kids. The medieval town of Tortosa with its stunning Cathedral has all you need for daily shopping but for the Ultimate Catalan experience then take a trip up to Barcelona on the train with fantastic views of the Mediterranean. If you just want to enjoy the unspoilt Catalan countryside then it’s all around you. There is a lot to see and do in the area and we do recommend car hire to enjoy this area fully.

We have our own small private swim on the banks of the River Ebro and are able to arrange fishing trips and fishing licences for those who wish to do battle with the river Ebro’s giant Wells catfish. This is the perfect spot to explore the culture, the history, the wines, landscape and wildlife and we can arrange walking or guided hiking trips, rambling, birdwatching tours or wine tours if you prefer a more relaxed approach.
