Just 500m (6 min.) walk to Otsuka JR train station and the local shopping district, this apartment is in a quiet neighborhood next to leafy Sugamo Park. Steps away from friendly neighborhood eateries and 24-hour convenience stores. The JR Yamanote Line train takes you to exciting Ikebukuro (3 min), and also to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku on the same line (10-20 min).

YOUR LIVING AREA

The casual-style living/dining area features a sofa that also becomes a single bed. A real gramophone player, BluRay/DVD/CD player, digital projector, multichannel amplifier, and surround speaker system is provided for your entertainment. Listen to our collection of period jazz records! The living room windows look over Sugamo Park.

YOUR BEDROOM

The sunny bedroom adjoins the living area and has a double sized bed. A single-sized foldable bed and floor mattress is also available for one extra guest, making a total maximum 5 beds for your convenience. Lots of comforters and blankets are provided for your comfort. The room has large windows facing the quiet street.

YOUR KITCHEN/DINING AREA

Adjacent to the living area, there is a family sized dining table with four chairs and two stools. The well-equipped kitchen has all the equipment that you are likely to need, such as a fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, china and glassware. Coffee and tea is provided. If you are not in the mood to cook, why not buy deli food from the nearby gourmet food store (Otsuka Station basement) and enjoy having it at home?

YOUR BATHROOM

The retro-style bathroom offers you the comfort of a Japanese style deep bath (furo) and shower, and comes with complimentary travel necessities such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap and a hair dryer. The restroom is separate from the furo. Your laundry needs are also covered with a washing machine inside the unit, complete with detergent and softener liquid.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
