From the owner

Huerto El Curica is located in the area of the Traditional Vegetable Gardens of Totana (Region of Murcia), natural habitat of centenary pines. An area dotted with stately homes, built in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, which are reflective of the buoyant economy of the time, where orange and lemon trees were the main source of wealth in the area. Within this environment, Huerto El Curica stands out for its orchard of mandarins and orange trees with an area of 12,000 m2, where the only dwelling of the complex is located. Our house has 3 rooms, with a capacity for a total of 8 people; 3 bathrooms; kitchen; a large dining room, with a table for 10 people; living room, with sofa bed and wood stove; and an interior patio with barbecue. In addition, the whole house has free WiFi and your pets are welcome. Outside, we find our aforementioned orchard of oranges and mandarins; a private pool with jacuzzi, barbecue and waterfall; solarium area with hammocks; porch with sofas and small table, overlooking the pool; and an oil mill granite stone, which plays the role of a table under one of our century-old pines. Huerto El Curica stands out for its proximity to different sales, where you can taste the cuisine of the area, as well as its proximity to the historic center of Totana at 4 km, the Monastery of Santa Eulalia at 3 km, the medieval village of Aledo, the natural park of Sierra Espuña at 7 km, Lorca at 25 km or the Bay of Mazarrón at 25 km, which stands out for its more than 32 km of coastline and its many beaches and virgin coves.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send María del Carmen (the owner) a message.

    If María del Carmen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
