From the owner

The Mutley Gite has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is vast, with a large antique carved four poster bed and floor to ceiling windows looking out over the stunning countryside. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have exposed stone walls and beams, and the gite has reclaimed oak flooring throughout.

The living area of the Mutley Gite is open plan with a feel of old and new throughout. Once again the floor to ceiling windows allow the daylight to flood in giving it a light and airy feel, with stunning views of the rolling countryside. The kitchen and bathroom are similar in style to the other two gites - clean lines and a modern touch. The retro kitchen is super shiny and the bathroom features a giant shower head. There is a wood burning stove for use during the winter.

French doors lead onto its private, raised wooden terrace, with tables, chairs and a barbeque. Steps lead from the terrace to the pool where there is also a separate shady area under the trees with hammocks and swinging chairs for total tranquility.

The Hopkins gite was lovely, and the hosts could not be kinder and more helpful. It was well located for lots of fun day trips, and we enjoyed cooking and relaxing in the beautiful countryside.

Response from the owner
Dear Peter, I am sorry you didn’t understand the difference between B&B and a Gite .i.e self catering accommodation. In B&B’s you get little shampoo’s, soap’s and of course breakfast. But we are not a bed and breakfast. We did supply soap, washing powder for clothes. and cleaning equipment. You said you where peed about paying 50 Euros extra for heating on a room that wasn’t cheap. You didn’t just get a room, you got the whole gite, which has two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, sitting room with a wood burner. I did email you before you agreed to book that heating was an extra cost. It also says this on our website and on TripAdvisor. Leaving the heating on all day and night, even when you weren’t there will make it expensive. The cost came to 56 Euros but I only charged you 50 Euros. I am sorry once again for the miss understanding All the best Will and Karen
