From the owner

Trevanion is in a really great position, a walker's paradise,it is 10 mins walk from Trevone Bay a lovely sandy beach, and 45 mins walk across the cliffs from the centre of Padstow. By car it is minutes from either. Further cliff walks south towards Newquay, are dotted with accessible beaches and various eating places. There are several sandy, family friendly beaches within 20 mins drive, and plenty of rock pools to explore!

Situated in a quiet cul de sac, the house is a bungalow with a loft conversion, and is set in an enclosed and private garden. The ground floor is open plan, with a good sized and well equipped kitchen, dining area for 6, with further generous seating for 6 around the TV.

Also on the ground floor there is a bathroom with a walk- in shower with basin and wc, and one double and one twin bedroom. Upstairs, there is a further double bedroom, and a family bathroom where there is a bath, basin and wc. The double bedrooms both have king size beds.

At the rear of the house, the garden has an area of lawn and a good size decked terrace with a table and seating for 6. There is an especially wide doorway from the bedroom onto the decking, to allow a wheelchair through.(In addition to a regular door from the kitchen onto the terrace.)There is also a new cute garden shed, perfect for shade or shelter!

Anyone familiar with the area will know there are numerous excellent eating places, including various Rick Stein options in Padstow and his Cornish Arms pub closer in St Merryn. The newly opened Pig at Harlyn Bay is about 5 mins drive away, or a glorious 40 minute walk along cliff top and beach.

Trevose golf course is within about 10 minutes drive.The Eden Project is about 35 mins drive, St Ives 45 mins on a good day!

There is wifi and a parking area in front of the house, very convenient for unloading.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Fleur (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
