Perfect romantic getaway for a couple wanting to getaway or cozy retreat for a small family looking to explore the Redwoods and beaches. Located just 1/2 mile south of the seaside village of Trinidad yet feels like a world away! Raven House is located on the beautiful Redwood-lined Scenic Drive, situated on a bluff, a mere 60 feet up from the ocean. Soak up the beauty of the sea & sunsets from the hot tub, observing the passing whales and seals, and the occasional porpoise. Please note - Guest reserving this home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking. Sorry, this house is NOT pet friendly, no exceptions.

Let the smooth sounds of the waves lull you to sleep in the in the upstairs bedroom suite with a Queen Tempurpedic bed, 32 inch t.v., reading nook, balcony with gorgeous views of Trinidad Bay and attached bathroom with a stall shower.

The open concept main level room allows guests to take in the majestic ocean views while relaxing on the sofa (Queen sleeper sofa for 2 children) or dining at the Redwood island. There is a 1/2 bathroom conveniently located off the open living room/ kitchen. Plenty of games provided for easy entertainment or step outside and watch for whales and sea lions from the deck. This home has no beach access but is a quick 1/2 mile drive to Trinidad State Beach and Old Home Beach. It is also less than 2 miles from Baker Beach, Luffenholtz Beach, Houda Point and Moonstone Beach. Explore all this seaside area has to offer! Travelers looking to explore the Redwoods only have to drive 20 minutes North to spend the day hiking in Redwood National Park. If staying in is more your cup of tea, warm up by the gas fireplace and listen to your own music with the I-pod docking station/CD player or cuddle up on the sofa and enjoy free Wi-Fi and Cable on the 42 inch flat-screen TV.

Cook gourmet meals together in a fully equipped kitchen decorated with mosaic art, with all the utensils you need for a meal together. The Redwood slab island is a one of a kind art piece and serves as the kitchen table with bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped and well stocked with a toaster, blender, dishwasher, microwave and gas range. If grilling is what you enjoy, there is a gas barbecue on the deck! Just relax in this very private environment breathing the clean, ocean air. Guests have access to a washer/dryer available outside on a covered patio.

Nearby are excellent restaurants, nature trails, surfing, kayaking and fishing options - to mention only a few of the amenities of this beautiful Northern California area! Though once you enter the Raven House, you may never want to leave!

Perfect destination for low-key vacation

Raven house was perfect! It was extremely clean and well kept. The balconies offered an excellent view of the ocean and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation destination.

Close to Redwood forests, beautiful view right on the Pacific, nearby Trinidad is cozy and welcoming. The house is just right for 2, the hot tub with a view is wonderful to warm up on the cool nights.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
