Description: The traditional house for rent Argyro's house is located in Agia Paraskevi, Grete at the lower end of the village below the square and church. The tiny village of Agia Paraskevi, stands high on the hillside looking out over the Lybian Sea .The village provides the location for unique holiday experience. The past decade the village has been slowly restored back to life. Agia Paraskevi has two churches and a score of houses which are located over a wide area of hillside with rocky ground and olive groves. All the houses are built in traditional style from local stone and wood, with terracotta tiled roofs, each one with its own particular character. The village of Agia Paraskevi is an amazingly peaceful place with no large villages and towns nearby. The sky at night is a revelation of vast and dazzling carpet of stars

Facilities: In Argyros house you will find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in traditional village Agia Paraskevi. The 2- stored traditional house ia an ideal accommodation for either couples of all ages, groups of friends or lone travelers. It is fully equipped in order to accommodate 1 to 6 persons.
On the ground floor you can find the partially covered entrance terrace which was built with bench seating's for dining. On the same floor you can find a fully equipped kitchen, the small beautiful living area, with built in sofas, fireplace, and a large dining table and a shower room.
Following a stone staircase on the upper floor there is a double bedroom and a slightly larger twin bedroom, with its patio doors to a lovely private terrace with iron balustrade and an incredible sea view. Both bedrooms have beamed ceiling and there is also a further twin bedroom off the kitchen on the ground floor with amaing sea view..
Local information Near Agia paraskevi and Argyros house you can find the sandy Ligres beach after five minutes (2,6 km) drive away.(at ligres you can find a great tavern with traditional food).. In addition the minutes drive you will end up in an excellent fish taverna on the little harbour in Agia fotini. Twenty minutes further west of Agia Fotini the unsurfaced road follows the coast to Swallows Lanyon where is the sandy beach below the spectacular monastery of Moni Preveli. Ten minutes east of Agia Paraskevi are the unique beaches of Triopetra and Agios Paulos. The area is excellent for walkers and there are footpaths to Ligres and Triopetra beaches to Agia Fitini..For supplies (two mini markets) you have to drive to Kerame 7 minutes with car, but for more facilities like bank, bakery, supermarket, policestation, hospital, and a little more civilation, the hill town of spili with its handsome venetians fonntains, a 25 minutes drive can offer you all that.


History Agia Paraskevi is named the village after 13th century church. Until 18th century the church was cared for by two Greek Orthodox nuns who where living in the village Agia Paraskevi. For many years the land around Agia Paraskevi farmed by the villagers of Ardaktos, a small village close to Agia Paraskevi. Up until the early 60's Agia Paraskevi had a population of 30 to 40 people, but at the end of 60s the village was deserted..Thirty years later eight men from village Ardaktos formed a loose co-operation to restore the original dwellings on condition they were built in traditional style.

The review is not acceptable... the guests arrived at house at 15:00 the house was clean .. after 9 hours at 22:00 told me that the house wasn't clean . I sent them cleaning service the next morning...!That's the only truth..
