The Caribbean Ashanti Lodge is located in the town of Trois-Rivieres in Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe. African inspiration, this lodge will host a big family or friends up to 10 people. At the heart of a flowery garden of approximately 1000 m² nestles an authentic box colorful Creole of 200 sqm. Its 4 rooms, an office and a loft, can accommodate 10 people. Each room has a unique design, rich travel between Africa and the West Indies. Naturally airy and tastefully decorated, this large lodge is composed of: - an entry for file beach bags, hiking or dives - a large living room, cool and breezy that invites reading, - a kitchen fully equipped (oven, microwave, hob, American style fridge with ice water dispenser, dishwasher ...) with two openings on the terrace and a large bar-window in which to enjoy fritters, planters and other Mojitos, - two bathrooms (shower and tub) and a toilet - a laundry with a washing machine and a large outdoor drying rack sheltered tropical showers - a large dressing room and plenty of storage, - a large terrace of 55 sqm with a swing inviting nap, garden furniture and a beautiful Moroccan table, turquoise, accommodating 10 guests around, why not, a lobster or goat colombo ... - a tropical garden where flowers bloom and fruit trees: traveler's tree, bougainvillea but also mango, guava, banana, ... a salt water pool for relaxing after long walks in the smell of tiare flower or frangipani .... Why can't I call Magali (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Magali (the owner) a message.

If Magali (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
