Seafront Villa for 1-6 people with pool, garden, housemaid/cook

The seafront and 130 m² villa is 1 hour from the airport in the east of Mauritius, only 10 minutes by boat from the well known “île aux cerfs”,.

The house is on the outskirts of the village with a peaceful view of the bay; A few yards away, the pirogues of the fishermen, the jetty for the boats to Ile aux Cerfs, it is lively, typical and charming.

Very inviting for couples or families, with housekeeper who prepares lunch, private garden and pool hidden from outside views.

The jetty to Ile aux Cerfs is 100 meter from the house and the beautiful beaches of Palmar and belle mare only 1 km away.

Villa Banian Verde is built in lava stone in the typical Mauritian style and very cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge, microwave, toaster etc.

From the pool you have a fantastic view on the lagoon.

The mansion can accommodate up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms/double beds and air condition. All bedrooms face the pool and the sea. One bathroom en suite , shower/WC, Second bathroom with Shower plus 1 separate WC.

The housemaid comes 6 x/week except on public holidays; she does the cleaning, the beds, laundry of linen; she also prepares lunch if you do the shopping; she’ll tell you what she needs for Mauritian specialties.

Trou d'eau douce is a small authentic mauritian fisherman's village with small food shops, typical restaurants and mini markets; The place can be animated with the boats in the lagoon going to l'ile aux cerfs and the nearby islands and on the jetty where locals are sometimes gathering, specially on public holidays. The view from the house on the bay is great and the centennial banyan tree near the pool adds even more authenticity to the place.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
