The villa is recognized by the Greek national tourism organization GNTO (Greek National Tourism Organization)

Is a beautiful, classic, traditional mansion from the 19th century. Completely made of stone. The property has an exquisite garden, a variety of colorful plants and trees together with a manicured lawn, they impress even the most discerning eye. During the summer season (March to October): The thick stone walls, the high-quality building materials and the careful design of the accommodation make it heat-resistant in the hot summer months

This traditional, Cretan villa offers enough space for up to 6 people on two floors.

The top floor offers a spacious living-dining area, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds, 1 bathroom with shower cabin and modern hydromassage, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, 2 balconies and a large terrace with an indescribable view of the Libyan Sea. On the lower floor there is a double bedroom, a kitchen and a living room. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned. All windows in the villa have mosquito nets so that you can always enjoy the fresh air of the village.

The interior of the villa is carefully designed to reflect its long history and the social status of its first owner. Viennese furniture and antiques create a warm and elegant ambience in harmony with the character of the house.

The villa offers an indescribable view of the Libyan Sea, the fertile Messara plain and the Ida Mountains.

Unforgettable sunsets can be enjoyed in the spacious, park-like garden. Many shady seating areas, some of which are made of natural stone, invite you to relax in the quiet village of Kalochorafitis.

On the spacious covered terrace you can enjoy an energizing breakfast with fresh fruits, honey, cheese and vegetables from Cretan nature.

Enjoy a refreshing dip in the private pool on hot summer days. There are numerous sun and shade spots in the garden for relaxation.

Especially in the evening after sunset, the entire property is wonderfully illuminated and shines in a special shine.

The villa is ideally equipped for 2 families or a group.

All costs and taxes of Villa Petra for the duration of the stay are included in the price - WiFi, electricity, hot water, cooling or heating, air conditioning, pool heating.

Why can't I call Vagelis (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Vagelis (the owner) a message.

If Vagelis (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
