Welcome to Wonky Willow glamping experience.

Set in the stunningly beautiful, tranquil Duddon valley, the (just under) a quarter of an acre private site is perfect for families looking to get away from it all, and have wonderful nature based adventures.

Wonky Willow is a one room cabin, mainly for sleeping, but with plenty of room for chilling out in the evenings, playing games, having a glass of wine (for the adults that is). You will need to bring camping equipment for sleeping on, though there is a couple of single futon mattresses to start you off. The cabin is very spacious, there are solar powered lights for when it gets dark - these are inside and out, and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

As mentioned, the entire Wonky Willow Site is just under a quarter of an acre. There is a bespoke eco-toilet which is spacious, with 2 separate seats - one for wee-wee, one for woo-woo - everything about Wonky Willow and the rest of the 28 acre "farm" it is situated on is geared towards conservation. hence nothing goes to waste. Including waste from the loo which goes to help new trees which are plated by the hundreds every year.

Across from your cabin is Wonky Willow's dinning area, complete with BBQ and a pod-kitchen which is kitted out with a double hob and crockery. Down another little path, through two young "islands" of trees is a firepit, in the center of a stone circle. Ideal for roasting marshmallows, boiling kettles, warming food, sitting around in the evening and talking about the adventures of the day.

Just outside your private area, it is less than a minute's walk to the first of 3 beautiful "beaches" by the River Duddon which run through the rest of the farm. The walks along the river are stunning, and the paddling/swimming is very refreshing in the warmer weather.

Wonky Willow is based on a 28 acre farm, which primary goal is conservation. We aim to plant 2000 trees a year. This has been an ongoing project for 20 years. Ewetree farm has gone from strength to strength. From a 28 acre bog, it is now a beautifully landscaped, with wildlife coming back due to the trees. We have birds of prey living, woodpeckers, and a plethora of other birds. There are 3 wildlife ponds with returning frogs, toads, and other water living wildlife. The hedgerows have become home to small shrews rabbits, and squirrels in the trees. For animal lovers there are plenty of wonderful sights. It is a wonderful place to get back to nature, and learn about living with the land.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bev & Theresa (the owner) a message.

    If Bev & Theresa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
