A unique cottage having its own exclusive heated indoor pool, hot tub and fantastic views.

In the heart of Tarka country in the rolling valleys lies a single Devon luxury, peaceful and welcoming holiday cottage with fantastic warm indoor swimming pool and luxury spa bath (both for your exclusive use). Free unlimited super fast WiFi (from January 2019). This Devon holiday cottage sleeps 4 plus cot in two bedrooms. It is fully centrally heated as well as having a log burner in the lounge. There is a grassed lawn, play area and paddock with tree house to the rear of the holiday cottage as well as ample parking to the side. To the front there is a sun bathing area with gas bbq, spa bath and picnic table from where guests can admire the spectacular views. Free wifi access. Mobile reception is 4g and excellent on all networks.

Bartridge Cottage is in a farm location on the side of the Taw valley with magnificent views of the valley and Exmoor. A luxury indoor pool and fantastic hot tub complement this superb single cottage. A truly wonderful holiday cottage experience with your own swimming pool and hot tub.

We do accept Monday to Monday or Monday to Friday check-in on request .

We have been running the cottage for over 30 years with the majority of guests being repeat or on recommendation. We welcome guests personally and provide a small welcome cream tea and bottle of wine. We live nearby and are on hand if needed to show guests around or suggest places to visit or eat in.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Robert and Veronica (the owner) a message.

If Robert and Veronica (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
