From the owner

Pots & Pans Cottage, a charming L-shaped 18th-century weavers cottage, is located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk from the centre of bustling Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and straight onto open Peak District for excellent walking.

As the cottage is located in a small quiet hamlet, it is not a suitable place to hold a party. The cottage is small, but comfortably accommodates four adults, therefore the maximum occupancy is four people.

The cottage is full of character with two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with bath, one ensuite), a cosy lounge and well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The decked garden and gazebo for outdoor dining is perfect to enjoy the tranquillity of Saddleworth.

Pots & Pans Cottage forms part of one of the oldest hamlets in Saddleworth, within Uppermill village, well known for its cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The cottage is a beautiful example of an iconic Saddleworth cottage with many original features and mullion windows throughout.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, feature fireplace and open wood beam ceiling. The second bedroom has an ensuite shower room and can be set up as a double, twin or single bedroom as required. The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The lounge features an Aga woodburning stove in the original fireplace and oak wood flooring. The well-equipped dining kitchen has exposed wood beams, rustic floor tiles a range cooker, dishwasher, SMEG fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and double ceramic sink.

Other amenities include a washing machine, tumble dryer, wifi internet, television and DVD player, digital radio and Bluetooth speaker. Children's highchair, stair gate and travel cot are available on request.

There is a designated parking spot close to the cottage (less than 1-minute walk). The cottage is tucked away, so although there is a garden, there isn't any space for a parking spot right outside, this does, however, mean that the cottage has no passing traffic and is very private.
