From the owner

The Brambles is a delightful 1 bedroom holiday cottage furnished with lone travellers, couples and pairs in mind. Situated just off the stunning Chesil Beach in the small, tranquil village of Langton Herring near Weymouth, it is one of seven family run farm holiday cottages comprising Character Farm Cottages. It is one of our smaller and cosier properties but offers more than enough space for two people. The cottage is bright and sunny and you will enjoy access to our wonderful farmland grounds and nearby walking trails including the Coastal footpath leading to the beautiful beaches of the Dorset coast and the unique Jurassic Coastline.
The Brambles is just on the edge of the small village of Langton Herring which has, within easy walking distance, its own local, The Elm Tree, which is renown for its excellent sea food. The cottage has access to a secluded south facing patio containing garden furniture and pretty shrubs, and inside it has an open fire, perfect for a night snuggled up with a loved one or an evening reading a book by its warm glow.
The cottage had a fully fitted kitchen with all the essentials, including a microwave for your morning porridge. The living room include French doors leading to the patio and TV and DVD player and a small dining table for meals indoors. The bedroom can be made up as double or twin to suit your needs. A cot or a guest bed can be included for a young child or toddler. There is ample parking and nearby guests can use the Old Stable which has laundry facilities, table tennis, WiFi, books and games.

Comfortable cottage

Comfortable cottage, well maintained. Ideal for walkers who can do hills. The log fire is ideal for those cold, wet early Spring evenings.

Why can't I call Jake (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jake (the owner) a message.

If Jake (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
