From the owner

This is an ideal location, between sea and mountains, between France and Spain along the Atlantic coast. Located 300 m from the Socoa beach, this is a pleasant sunny duplex (60m²) to share with family or friends. The flat configuration allows a certain independance between two couples or between parents and children. This duplex has been totally refurbished and decorated with care and has all the facilities.

On the first level, a living room giving onto a terrace with a garden table where you can dine and enjoy drinks in the evening, open kitchen plan, a bedroom with twin beds or king size bed (according to the configuration you prefer) and a bathroom. Upstairs a large bedroom with one double bed (ensuite shower room) giving on to a second terrace with lounge chairs.

We supply linens and towels and information on all the great things to see and do nearby.

You are at a walking from the Socoa beach (300 m), restaurants by the Fort of Socoa and all amnities, 2 km from the St Jean de Luz train station and its TGV, 1 km from the famous Corniche, 10 minutes from Hendaye, 20 minutes from San Sébastian and on the other side 20mn from Biarritz..

In addition to the water sports come enjoy hiking along the Corniche leading to Hendaye, the mountain of "La Rhune" and its little train and discover the magnificent view from the top on the Basque coast, the inland and the Pyrenees.

The bike is not left out with the Ibardin col and others leading to neighboring Spain.

You are 15 minutes away by car from "Golf de la Nivelle".

Visit the Maison Ravel, the Fort Socoa, the Bordagain Tower, the Aubadia Mansion, the Urtubie Castle and enjoy the local festivals which make the charm of the Basque Country.

Enjoy the beach, watersports, hiking during the day and in the evening the night life in Saint Jean de Luz. A week is not long enough to do it all!

There is a free parking at the front of the residence but frankly forget the car when you can walk to the beach, shops and the local market!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Mireille (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
