DESCRIPTION

Salineras Ranch is located in a private, sprawling refuge at the entrance of the ancient Inca’s salt trading center AKA Salt Mines of Maras. A unique space of 62-acre open land, welcomes you, your family and friends to have a real-life experience of the Sacred Valley.

Because of our privileged location, you’ll enjoy our private access to paths into the Andes Mountains by horse riding, biking or hiking, offering spectacular panoramic views. We also offer activities that suit all tastes, from cultural experiences to hands-on workshops dating from ancient times and more. What’s more, you’re welcome to enjoy our cozy accommodation as well as our homemade food prepared with local fresh and organic ingredients.

Our land is an ecosystem with native trees, pollinating bees, wild birds, chickens and horses wandering free. In short, this place is perfect for families and nature lovers. Here, in the center of the Valley - without any streetlights - you can delight yourselves with the spectacular view of starry nights unlike any other place.

Our three cabins are fully equipped to ensure your comfort. Around the cabins, you can enjoy hammocks and rustic tables placed in panoramic spots.

Salineras Ranch is a working ranch run by a small group of friends avid to sharing their way of living. We promote sustainable development, and as such our Ranch is designed using permaculture concepts: ecologically sustainable principles with a special recycling system.

Why can't I call Pablo (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pablo (the owner) a message.

If Pablo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
