Life’s A Beach is a unique property on Utila. Situated right on the sand with the Caribbean lapping at the shore, this 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath home is now on the rental market and available to the discerning traveler looking for privacy in an upscale accommodation yet the comfort and coziness of a beach house.

The views from Life’s A Beach are simply outstanding! The living area is wrapped on two sides with windows facing the sea. Watching the fishermen looking for their daily catch and the dive boats dropping morning or afternoon divers is entertainment enough to keep you from turning on the television. The shelves in the entertainment center are stocked with puzzles, card games, books and videos and a flat screen television. Stretch out on one of the sofas, put your feet up, and enjoy the vacation you worked hard for!

The Master Bedroom has a handmade queen sized, four poster bed complete with a Tempur-Pedic® mattress that is so comfortable you’ll be tempted to keep hitting the snooze button on your alarm, and an ensuite bath that will take your breath away. Dual raised basins sit on a marble topped vanity that allow for a couple to engage in their morning ablutions simultaneously. Turn around and the full length glass block and tile shower is as inviting as it is functional.

Wander into the gourmet kitchen and pour yourself a cup of coffee while you ponder what you might like to make for breakfast. With all upscale appliances you’ll have options to prepare anything from a bowl of cereal to buttery croissants. Dinners as simple as a pot pie or a steak followed by Crêpe Suzette are yours for the making. Everything is in place for you!

Two bedrooms are up the stairs and one has sea side views that will lull you to sleep while a ceiling fan lazing above you will keep you cool. A shared bath separates the second bedroom, which can also be used as a study or work station with a large table nestled against one wall and bathed in natural light.

While the inside of this property is warm, comforting, and inviting, don’t forget to climb the stairs to the Widow’s Walk. At the very peak of the house, this is THE perfect spot to watch the sun go down, or even come up if you’re an early riser. Why can't I call Tony and Jo (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tony and Jo (the owner) a message.

If Tony and Jo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
