Wake up in paradise in this picture perfect Caribbean home located on a private beach outside of Utila Town. Enjoy gorgeous ocean views from nearly every room within this beautiful beach home.

The home has been newly remodeled and offers a lovely open concept living room, well supplied kitchen, air-conditioned bedroom suites with bathrooms/showers, two lofts for the more adventurous and a 2nd story balcony and unique crow’s nest lookout.

Each bedroom has new comfortable beds and bedding (1 offers a king bed and the other room has a queen bed) and each suite has double doors opening to a screened-in porch on the beachfront deck. Fall asleep and awaken to the ocean breeze and to the sound of gentle ocean waves.

Spend your days scuba diving or snorkeling from your private beach or schedule scuba lessons or dives with one of the many dive shops on the island. Grab a book and relax in the hammock or hang out on the upstairs balcony while enjoying your favorite beverage.

Tastefully decorated and furnished with a large flat screen TV, Sony Blueray, dvd’s, games and books, you are sure to enjoy all of the available activities at Casa Miradora.

This island-style private residence is a short 5 minute walk from Neptune’s Restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Neptune’s features fabulous fresh seafood and a variety of delicious dining options, refreshing smoothies and adult beverages. Your palate will love the cuisine and your wallet will love the reasonable prices. While there, you can enjoy their comfortable lounge chairs, rent a paddleboard or snorkeling equipment, play volleyball or simply hang out and enjoy the friendly camaraderie with patrons from around the world.

Your booking includes exclusive concierge services by local hosts Cheri and Derick. If you prefer cooking your own meals, they will be happy to stock your home prior to your arrival, assuring you of a relaxing and comfortable start to your vacation. If you wish to shop for yourself, you can make a stop at the local grocery store while enroute to your vacation home. Your hosts will also give you a quick orientation and provide you with a cellphone giving you piece of mind knowing you can stay in touch if necessary.

Access to this beautiful location is by boat only and your hosts will pick you up and deliver you back to the ferry or airport. Additionally, boat service is available daily via Neptune’s “water taxi”. This 10 minute boat ride is relaxing and enjoyable and gives you the opportunity to see a unique part of the mangrove area of Utila. Night trips to town or trips to the smaller islands can be chartered at a reasonable price through a number of local providers. Your concierge hosts can assist with these as well as other local entertainment and recreational options on the beautiful island of Utila.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Cheri (the owner) a message.

If Cheri (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
