From the owner

Villa Isabelle is modern Villa in secure Residence having it's own private parking space and communal pool. The 4 km long beach is just 800 meters away. The town has all the necessary amenities, restaurants, shops all of which are within walking distance.

The interior of the villa is comfortably furnished a perfect base to explore the area and enjoy the local beach.

The villa is open plan on the ground floor with kitchen, dining and living areas and a separate cloakroom (this is the only WC in the villa). The utility area is cleverly tucked away behind fitted cupboards as you enter, containing large water heater, washing machine, vacuum, iron etc..

The living area has a comfortable sofa bed (which sleeps 2), 2 easy chairs and dining room table with seating for 6.

The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob and hood, tumble drier and separate small fridge and freezer. There is a kettle, toaster and electric coffee maker, plus all crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils you would require. In the utility cupboard there is a washing machine.

There is a large flat-screen TV and a DVD player.

There are two double bedded rooms on the first floor, both with fitted wardrobes, and balcony from one of them with table and 2 chairs.

The large, ultra modern shower room is also located on the first floor.

The villa has air conditioning and the heating is electric.

The ground floor living area leads through sliding patio doors to a small private tiled garden, which catches the morning through to mid afternoon sun.

For al fresco dining the garden furniture includes a table and seating for 6, 2 sun loungers and portable BBQ.

The Region

Benefiting from a warm sunny climate, it is an area with 300 days of sunshine. Languedoc-Roussillon offers a wide variety of landscapes from fine sandy beaches, scrublands, lagoons, vineyards and mountains. The natural land and seascapes offer a wide variety of sporting activities.

The Canal du Midi is the world's oldest working canal and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is still in use today and connects the Atlantic with the Mediterranean. Within easy reach of Valras Plage are important features such as the Malpas tunnel, the world's first canal tunnel, and the Écluses de Fonseranes (locks). Boat trips are available from various staring points.

The Locality

Being in the heart of the Languedoc, Valras Plage is a great location to holiday, it is the ideal base for visitors who just want to relax, for the walker or for the very active.

The village has all amenities including bakeries, grocery stores, supermarkets, newsagents, banks with (international card) cash machines, restaurants, waterfront cafés and bars, daily seafood stands.

Valras Plage is a great location to sample the wines of the region, you can often stop off at the local “Cooperatives” to sample the wine and fill up bottles with the wine straight from the barrels.

For those who wish to dine in style there are many fine restaurants available. Why not try Ma Ferme, just 2 kms from the Villa, the Chateaux at Columbiers or Lespignan? These offer a fine French dining experience. It is advisable to book beforehand.

Why can't I call Gertrude (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gertrude (the owner) a message.

If Gertrude (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
