Sophia's House is a lovely modern built bungalow and offers a very high standard of finishes. The villa is well equipped with all the things you would expect from a villa of this standard including Free 24meg internet and TV smart box with Netflix ( or bring your own fire stick etc)

.Situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Aspro, on an elevated plot 1.7km inland. The villa offers fabulous views over the valley of olive groves and down to the pleasant seaside village of Almyrida then across Souda bay to the Akrotiri penninsula.Sophia's House occupies a corner plot on a quiet site with only 5 other properties, bordering are acres of land, with lots of walking trails, shaded in parts by meandering through the woodland, offering a welcome respite from the heat of the sun.The land to the front of the villa drops away down the valley, this position gives the villa the peace and privacy for you to enjoy the fabulous views from the semi covered front terrace or from the private infinity pool.If your a sun worshipper, then the upper terrace is the ideal place to relax, soak up the sun, and still take in the stunning surroundings.Sophia's House will suit either romantic couples or families as the villa sleeps up to six people.If you can bring yourself to venture away from these lovely surroundings, then you are only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute gentle walk away from Almyrida, with it's blue flag beaches and plenty of shops and taverna's.

Sophia's House is tastefully furnished; ensuring quality and comfort, there is a varied selection of books and DVD's along with a pair of binoculars and some games.

The artworks in all the rooms are by the famous Greek photographer, Giorgos Meis.

There is a comfortable corner seating unit and the other furnishings are of natural dark wood.
The villa provides all the modern comforts you may need, it offers a TV, CD radio/MP3 player and a DVD player, the satellite TV channels have bbc news channel, some movie and sport channels.

In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob-electric oven and microwave.

There are ceiling fans and air conditioning units throughout the villa, the a/c units can also be used as heaters on cooler evenings at the beginning and end of the season.

The water is heated by solar panel or the immersion heater if required.

A problem with the pool heating was reported to us on the Sunday 15th September. The engineer was notified and Monday morning (16th of September) the heating was back on and has been working perfectly ever since. We do not charge anything extra for the pool heating; the problem was fixed promptly, once we were notified. We feel it was unfair to claim compensation or “review accordingly” The pool is heated to a temperature of 26-28` the same as most public swimming pools, the unit will only come on when the temperature drops below 26`c. Thank you for nice comments about the extremely peaceful villa, super location and stunning views across the bay. Sorry you were not happy with your stay, but as a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to offer you a generous discount on any future booking.

Exceptional once again

Second visit havin stayed for 3 days last year. Once again it was fab with clear blue skies for whole week. This villa is a real find so not easy about telling people as it will be diff to book

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ruth (the owner) a message.

If Ruth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
