You’ll love Chez Mondy Gite, because its the perfect place to relax and unwind, with breath-taking views. Chez Mondy is in the lush Dordogne countryside with stunning views.

Close to the charming village of Varaignes with its 12th Century château & church, restaurant, boulangerie, post office small grocery shop

Chez Mondy has been designed to include many features of the local area. Tastefully decorated and furnished, includes all the modern day facilities one would expect.

Conservatory kitchen-diner, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave oven, hob, iron, ironing board. Washing machine housed in the boiler room.

The conservatory kitchen dinner with satellite TV, Netflix and free Wi-Fi connection.

Sleeping accommodation accessed independently.

Bedroom 1. Double bed, en-suite comprising Shower, sink, Separate wc.

Bedroom 2. Family room 2 Single bed or they can be made in to a double and 1 single bed Or travel cot it makes a lovely family room if you are traveling with young children.

All towels, bed linen, tea towels and pool towels are included and provided free of charge.

Chez Mondy has a patio aria and graveled area front and side with tables, chairs, BQ where al fresco dining may be enjoyed.

The swimming pool is 10m x 5m salt water system, solar heated. The 4 seated Hot tub is shared only with our other gite Le Claud d'amour - The pool and Hot tub will be yours to enjoy throughout your stay. The pool is set in a stunning location which enjoys almost 360 degree view, together with comfortable sun loungers, parasols.

Activities in the nearby areas include Canoeing, Go-karting, Beach St-Esteph beach, Country walks, Golf, Fishing, Cycling ( bikes not supplied ) , Antique hunting in the country markets.

Within a 30 to 60 minutes drive from the property are the splendid city of Brantôme, La Rochefoucaud, Perigueux, Limoge and the historic city of Angouleme, all with their own resplendent Cathedral, Château & Churches and wide variety of restaurants and night life are to be found in the area.

Ryan Air fly to Limoges, Bergerac. bordeaux

Limoges airport is approximately a 1 hour Bergerac is approximately a 1 hour 30 min. Bordeaux is approximately 2hr drive to the property. Car hire is available at the airport.(Best to book in advance). For train lovers, Angouleme has a TGV station with fast routes from London via Paris and Lille.

Or simply drive via Euro tunnel or by ferry.

Susan & John Live at Chez Mondy where they are on hand to help you enjoy your stay. We have 2 dogs they are young Europian shephards they are very gental and we try and ony interact on request.
