At the heart of Minervois, between sea and mountain, the mill of trédos was built by 1650 on the ruins of a Roman temple. A magnificent river peppered with waterfalls flows next to the mill, it winds between the mounts where oaks-greens mix in the scrubland; the water is fresh and pure and the toning bathing for those who are not afraid of a 16 degree temperature!

The 4m X 10m salt pool is heated when necessary and is between 25 and 28 degrees.

A natural swimming pool, without the addition of products, fed by water from the river but with very fresh water (from 19 to 23 degrees) is accessible during the months of July and August.

The place is in the heart of nature and in 2 km of any house! The nature is generous, flowers, scents of lavender, thyme and other Southern plants, the butterflies, cicadas, a pure starry sky ..., everything is there so that you stays is the most pleasant.

The House of Hobbit is in the location of the old ruin, the Lord of Rings waits for you! Built underground, carpenters there to châtaigner of the property, plant roof marrying the curves of the mountain, isolated of the Mill but close to the river! A unique house on a unique site with all the comfort! The terrace offers you a view along the valley and on the river; the barbecue deserves a medieval banquet!

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Thierry (the owner) a message.

    If Thierry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
