Nice immaculate park model with a window/screened lanai totally furnished, all you need to bring is your clothes. This area of the park is most in demand due to it being almost totally Park Models and only a few RV spaces. There is excellent shade for the house and deck. This section of the park is very quiet because it is on a dead end street, but you can still bike or walk straight to the clubhouse area one block away. It's close to all of the amenities, but distanced enough so you don't hear the people in the pool. Almost all of your surrounding neighbors own, and return each year for the Winter Season. The biggest draw to this park, is that it is unlike any other RV park I have stayed at in the 8 years I have lived this life since retirement. I have heard several women use the term "My beloved Ramblers Rest" it truly is a community where people literaly get a sign from the office and stick it in their yard, and thats who's hosting the pot luck that day if you want to attend. This is no cookie cutter RV Park, there are more things to do here than you could possibly pencil into your day.
Most of the residents own their place outright, and return from some cold state or Canada year after year. Everyone knows everyone, and you can find your own niche from hanging out at the pool, to making things at the wood-shop, quilting at the quilt room, being in bands that perform, acting in a play, billiards tournaments, pottery classes, it goes on and on. If you just want to sit in the house and watch TV or read an entire book by the pool, your options are endless.
If you want to surround yourself with a bunch of great mid-western folks that love to socialize, than you will literally fall in love with this place, and the staff is like your extended family. I don't type all this out to sell you on my place, I have another home here already, and wouldn't trade or sell it. I'm just glade I ran across this Gem, and didn't end up somewhere else and missed out on this lifestyle. If I had to describe it in a nutshell, there are people that want to live at a country club to nob-knob, and there are the blue collar old school hunter/fisherman best friends to have in the world, and that's who lives here. Hope to see you around the campus :-)
