Villa Lavinia is located on a private road in the heart of Ventnor, Isle of Wight with stunning views down the coast. Perfectly located just a short walk to the beach and harbour below it is also within a few moments of the supermarkets and quirky shops of the High Street.

Upon reaching Villa Lavinia you enter a house steeped in history. Completely renovated to a high standard, many of its original features have been retained such as the carved gothic staircase and ornate cornicing. The contemporary décor and stylish furnishings make this an extremely comfortable property with the accommodation comprising a large kitchen/dining/living space; 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people; one shower room; two bathrooms, one with separate shower. The kitchen is very well equipped with large American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler, and the ground floor utility room houses a washing machine, separate dryer and a further wc. The ground floor features oak flooring throughout.

The Villa's stunning clifftop garden has amazing views of Ventnor Bay and the Channel beyond. Equipped with a barbecue, picnic tables and deck chairs it is the perfect spot to enjoy Ventnor's many sunny days (please note this is accessed over the small private road from the front of the property). There is also a dedicated parking space for an average sized car outside The Villa but there is free parking just a couple of moments away at our sister property The Winter Gardens.

The Villa is looked after by team at The Hambrough which is just a few steps away. Rated as 5 AA Gold Star B&B accommodation with award-winning breakfasts you know that you are going to be taken care of. Villa Lavinia can also be rented with The Villa Apartment, sleeping an additional 4 guests.

It is fully equipped with a large five burner gas range, dishwasher, large fridge/ freezer with ice maker, and a wine cooler.The lounge offers stunning views and with an array of modern technology including flat screen T.V., sound system for your entertainment. The lavish seating lets you unwind and relax in the privacy of your own space. Villa Lavinia benefits from a landscaped garden with lower terrace with picnic tables and upper deck level with spectacular sea views down the coast. It is equipped with a barbeque and deck chairs, and has a lawned area for children to play. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send The (the owner) a message.

If The (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
