You can’t beat the healing nature of the sea, if you are lucky enough to get the opportunity to stay at this villa you will not only get to hear the soothing of the sea, you will awake to the panoramic sea view in the morning and generally see the sun rise above the sea, which is a spectacle in itself.

The villa is ideal for all who need to escape from the hustle and bustle of life, with great walks on your door step and wonderful scenery. There’s no need to get in the car to enjoy the area as all amenities are in walking distance. It’s also a fisherman’s dream, you can easily cast a rod just near to the villa, or if you don’t fancy catching your own, there is Ventnor Haven 10 mins away where you can get all sorts of fresh fish from the local fishermen like bass, lobster, crab etc.

Also why not visit the acclaimed Spyglass Inn along Ventnor sea front, a lovely old pub full of character. It is in a perfect spot, overlooking the sea, to enjoy a pint and where food portions are plentiful.

The dog is also welcome , it has a great natural stone enclosed garden to the rear with grass area. Your dog will love exploring Ventnor with you. You are able to take dogs on Ventnor beach during off peak times (10mins walk) and Bonchurch beach the other direction (20mins walk), dogs can go on Bonchurch beach all year.

Modern spec villa throughout with the following facilities:

Porch: Upon arrival at the villa, you are greeted with a handy porch for coats and shoes.

Bedrooms: The villa has 3 good size bedrooms, it sleeps 6. The master bedroom, a double room, with seaview has a double divan bed, the 2nd bedroom also a double room with king size sleigh bed, the 3rd bedroom with pine bunk beds with enclosed top bunk, with space for a travel cot.

Large Lounge/dining area: panoramic sea view, French doors opening to the front, comfortably furnished with modern 3 seater sofa and lounger, there is a flat screen TV should it be needed with Freeview channels, giving plenty of channels to choose from. Wifi is also available. Table and chairs are available for dining at.

Kitchen: well equipped, good size kitchen with built in electric oven, gas hob, fridge, washing machine

Shower room: Large walk in shower cubicle, with white sanitary ware, large round mirror.

Outside: To the front is a good size decked area with seating to enjoy the sea view. To the rear an enclosed garden with grass area.

Heating: Hot water and heating is by an LPG gas boiler, with radiators throughout.

Electric: Electric is additional by £1 coin meter, minimal usage, with having a gas hob and gas heating.

Linen: all linen is included in the price. Should your stay be for two weeks, fresh bottom sheets are offered for the second week but need to be preordered at the time of booking.

Parking: close drop off point and then free parking in private villa carpark. There is an easy walkway down some steps back to the villa from the carpark. Not suitable for a driver with walking difficulties.

Access: Villa is on the ground level, you drive down to drop luggage off. To reach it from the drop off point you walk across a gravel area, past a villa, down a few steps, past the next two villas with decked areas to the front and no. 13 is on the end with decking to the front. There are a few steps up to the decked area.

Dear Debbie, thank you very much for spending the time doing the review, it is very much appreciated!! So glad you enjoyed your stay and you enjoyed the home comforts the property has to offer. It is useful that we have a nearby drop off point for luggage, yes most people are fine with parking in the carpark and taking the shortcut up the steps to reach it, but for people who have walking difficulties I do try and accommodate parking on the lower level. Can I apologise about dog hair, this is not a normal occurrence, I am very hot on dog hair, it normally gets a double hoover when there has been a dog, I even go round with brown tape when necessary. I do hope you get to come again, another time, I will have to come down and make sure you have all the chairs, there are at least 4 standard height chairs, they are folded away for space. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Haylie (the owner) a message.

If Haylie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
