Description from owner

Description

The perfect property for an escape to the country, The Lodge is a beautiful modern retreat set in beautiful Isle of Wight countryside. With direct access to the downs straight from the doorstep, The Lodge is a firm favourite with walkers and dog owners.

Inside, The Lodge is both contemporary and welcoming with an open plan living, kitchen and dining area, which makes a stylish space to relax as a family after a long day. Netflix available.

When night falls and it’s time to retreat to the land of dreams, you’ll find a king size bed in the first bedroom and twins in the second, all with deep mattresses and cotton linen so you can look forward to a blissful night’s sleep.

Outside, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy the great outdoors during your holiday, thanks to the private garden, with patio table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. The Lodge also enjoys its own private hot tub, the perfect way to relax beneath a canopy of stars in the evenings.

Ventnor’s a charming town situated on the south coast of the island, and it’s said to be one of the warmest areas of the Wight. The seafront’s home to a selection of cafes, independent shops, amusements, harbour and a beautiful sandy beach – perfect for entertaining the whole family. Shanklin and Sandown are equidistant allowing the whole family to enjoy the Islands best beaches. The area's also fantastic for those long walks with the dog, mountain and road biking and horse riding.

“Cosy lodge - home from home”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2018

A cosy lodge set in the beautiful countryside of Ventnor. The lodge was very warm, clean and comfortable with lovely fluffy towels! A doggie treat bag was waiting for our pup and a lovely chocolate fudge cake for us! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evening and the bed was so comfortable. Sue was very kind and very helpful which made our stay even more special. A Perfect lodge for a small family and a dog. Very tranquil and peaceful and only a short drive to some lovely beaches and quaint little shops. I will definitely stay again!

Response from the owner Thank you for your wonderful review Georgina. We look forward to seeing you again. Best Wishes, Graham & Sue :-)
