L’Insolita home holidays , which is set on a hill surrounded by centuries old olive and cypress trees, offers its guests a place where they can truly relax; just recently renovated, the rooms are furbished with all mod-cons: air conditioning, central heating, hairdryer, mini bar, top quality toiletries, safe, intercom, satellite TV, Wi-Fi.

"A short walk within our grounds, through an olive grove and down some stone steps will lead you to our private swimming pool. The perfect place for cooling down with a relaxing” hot tub".

The home consists in three bedrooms (two double and one single 5 beds +2)and three bathrooms, the sitting room equipped with a TV and a card table, the kitchen and the dining room open on to a spacious terrace with views of the Tuscan hills and of the sea which is roughly 8kms away,private parking.

GETTING THERE

The home is situated 500m from the town of Venturina, a suburb of Campiglia Marittima which is in the province of Livorno, Tuscany.

BY CAR

Take the exit for Venturina on the SS1 Aurelia Superstrada (SGC). Follow the directions for Campiglia Marittima and, 400m after the road starts to go uphill, there is a gate on the right hand side. This gate leads onto our private, pine tree lined road.

NEARBY

This area has a rich and captivating history.

8kms away is the Gulf of Baratti with its archeological site. The Etruscan town of Populonia once stood here. It was famous for its production of hematite, a substance brought from the nearby Isle of Elba and used to make iron bullion bars. On the site there are the ruins of a necropolis and of calcarenite mines.

Close to the L’Insolita, a pleasurable 10 minute walk along a country lane is Calidario, a hot spring lake with 36c water. There is also a spa which has a multitude of treatments and massages available.

4kms away is the medieval town of Campiglia Marittima with its unforgettable panorama.

On the road which descends towards the sea is the Parco Minerario of San Silvestro. A little further north is the town of San Vincenzo, a popular holiday destination with its harbour and many summer activities.

The Statale 398 road from Venturina will take you, after 14kms, to Piombino which lies on a cape of the Tuscan coast.

Important for its steelworks and as an Etruscan homeland, ferries departing from its harbour connect the Isle of Elba to the mainland.

the stay is allowed for a minimum of five days, the package includes 1 change of bed linen and towels, after and end cleaning, exclusive use of the pool, private parking.

Security deposit 300 Euros will be returned upon departure.

The pool is for exclusive use of the Insolita guests who use it at their own risk and peril, exempting the property from any responsibility criminal and civil.

Any extras can be paid upon departure with cash.
