Ground floor apartment in a small friendly holiday complex near the traditional Spanish village of Palomares. The apartment has a patio which backs directly on to the communal pool.

A 10-15 min walk from the beach, the apartment is in a gated complex and offers plenty of space to relax and sunbathe. Palomares is situated close to the village of Villaricos, the town of Garrucha and Desert Springs Golf Course, and has various restaurants and bars offering traditional food and drinks as well as an English Pub.The village also has supermarkets, a bakery, chemist, beautician and banks.

Palomares is a traditional Spanish village, under 1km from the coast, within walking distance of a stunning long stretch of white sandy, and under-used, beach. An ideal location to relax and enjoy the Spanish way of life. The local bars and cafes serve traditional Spanish food throughout the day.

Palomares has banks, bars and shops. There are a number of English and Spanish bars/restaurants offering 3-course "Menu Del Dia" typically for between 8-10 euro per person:

1) Tapas 102 in the village square for authentic tapas and pizza's

2) Oasis Bar with great food and Sky Sports (if you are missing a big match)

3) Los Angeles Bar/Restaurant

There is also a pharmacy, 3 x small supermarkets, patisserie, 2 banks, butchers, fresh fish shop, electrical store, hardware store and more in the village.

The apartment is ideal for couples and families and is step-free. Apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, TV, DVD player selection of DVDs, security grills fitted on all windows. All bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided.

A short 5 minute drive gets you to the Waterpark in Vera Playa, "an oasis of fun - Fun for all ages, water rides, pools, playground, green areas, picnic, self service, changing rooms, sunbeds, mini golf.... to enjoy with family and friends". This is great for both small and older children, offering exciting rides as well as a water fountain area with smaller slides for toddlers. Often you can get discount vouchers for the park from Consum (very large and modern supermarket next door); and/or a reduced rate for afternoon only entrance (which is often long enough!).

A car is not essential but is recommended if you wish to go and explore the many secluded coves and surrounding area.

Why can't I call Clive (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Clive (the owner) a message.

If Clive (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
