Stunning views of Lake Como and the mountains with the evening sun.

Beautifully refurbished spacious semi-detached house with two large bedrooms, sleeps 4. Arranged on one floor with a private garden. In the middle of the lovely mountainside village of Vercana which is 5 minutes drive from the lake shoreline.

Spacious house of approx. 75 sqm consists of the following rooms: fully appointed fitted kitchen complete with oven, four-ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer; a living room with traditional open fire and a dining area with lake views; a spacious bathroom comprising of bath with shower over, washbasin, toilet and bidet; 2 bedrooms one king size bed and one double bed and bedroom furniture.

Externally, there is a lovely terrace with table and chairs and fabulous views over the lake and mountains, a great place to sit with a glass of wine watching the sunset. The terrace overlooks the private garden on the lower level, also equipped with table and chairs and BBQ for relaxing in which again affords lake views and has access to a large walk in storage area for bicycles / sporting equipment. In here you will find table, chairs and BBQ for your use.

Municipal parking is just 10 meters from the house.

Casa Farfalla is ideally located with a couple of small village shops, (walk down in the morning for fresh bread and brioche) a café/bar and a large pizzeria a short walk away. Just 2.5km by road – and only 20 minutes walking the much shorter path – and you are in the lovely lakeside town of Domaso with its beautiful architecture and stunning views. Here you will find countless opportunities for recreation: shopping, sports activities, excursions, restaurants, entertainment and direct access to the lake for walking, cycling or just relaxing in the sun over a coffee or a delicious local ice cream.

A self check-in property. We have someone who will check that all is in order. We have contacts with a local company who can arrange guided alpine walks, dinner out or a very special treat. Please feel free to ask. There is also a comprehensive information booklet waiting for you at Casa Farfalla for your perusal. Although there is no wifi at the house there are plenty of cafes where it can be accessed. I also believe some of the European contracts now allow "roaming" anywhere in Europe or if visiting from the UK you can purchase from Vodafone a wifi fob. Or put your phone down and enjoy the views/sights!

Why can't I call Mandy (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Mandy (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mandy (the owner) a message.

If Mandy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
