Description

The panoramic ocean views from this sunny cottage are exceeded only by the vibrant sunsets on warm summer nights. Enjoy this cozy 2 bedroom cottage with queen bed and twin bunks in a secluded setting on the north end of Salt Spring Island, located in close proximity to expansive hiking trails along Channel Ridge and to Sunset Beach.

The kitchen is well equipped and supplemented by a barBQ outside for those hot summer days. An extensive deck almost doubles the living area of the cottage, and has an outdoor eating area, lounge chairs and a hot tub with fabulous ocean views. Amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, WiFi and cable TV. Children and pets are always welcome. Let Sunset Solace be your home on Salt Spring Island.

After you have booked the cottage, your hosts Bruce & Wendy will be in touch with you regarding driving directions and will answer any questions you might have about the island, the surrounding area or the cottage itself. On the day of your arrival, the cottage will be ready after 3 pm for you to just walk in, make yourselves at home and wait for your hosts to arrive to greet and orient you. They live just up the hill on the same property, and will be there to help you throughout the duration of your holiday.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bruce & Wendy (the owner) a message.

If Bruce & Wendy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
