Casa Norma sleeps 6 people comfortably . Set over 3 floors the property hosts one master bedroom with kingsize bed, and two twin rooms. There are two bathrooms within the house – one of which includes a roll top bath were you can relax in luxury whilst admiring the spectacular Panio di Corfino Mountain. The second bathroom hosts a modern shower room on the top floor, also offering a view you’d never tire of looking to!

The original tiled floors and wooden beamed ceilings offer a truly authentic farmhouse experience. The modern kitchen provides all the necessary equipment to create local dishes for all to enjoy, whilst the extremely characteristic outdoor oven provides a fun way to make your own pizza for a true Italian experience!

There are a variety of outdoor spaces to enjoy around the property. A magnificent view awaits from the terrace accessible directly from the kitchen, or the enclosed rose garden and sun terrace to the front of the house.

The electric fanned wood burning stove in the living area allows for cozy nights in, and of course the entire house comes with Central heating to allow for year round usage of this wonderful property.

Our nearest airport is Pisa Galileo, which has daily flights in from London, and many regular flights from most regional UK airports. From the airport, the house is approximately 1hr 30mins by car. Many car hire options are available at Pisa airport. Full directions will be provided upon booking.

Alternatively there is a regular train timetable from Pisa Centrale station to Castelnuovo Di Garfagnana, a relaxing way to view the beautiful scenery on route. From there you can use local taxis (we can give you the telephone number of an English speaking driver) to reach the house.

There is a local mini-market within a 10 minute walk that supplies all your essentials. A larger fully stocked supermarket can be found in Pieve Fosciana (approx 20mins from the house). There are numerous restaurants with easy driving distance of the house offering superb italian fare at extremely reasonable prices. e.g. Average 2/3 course lunch costs 10-15 euro including wine!

The historic village of Castiglione is a ten minute drive by car or taxi and has a couple of bars with spectacular views and is the heart of local life in the area.

Additional house amenities include free wifi throughout, bed linen, a children’s cot, washing machine and towels. House cleaning is not included during your stay but can be arranged at local currency. One bag of logs provided out of season and additional logs can be provided upon request. Why can't I call Molly (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Molly (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Molly (the owner) a message.

If Molly (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
