In the very centre of Villard de Lans, this small studio ( 20m2) has a great view and you will feel at home there. There are two bunk beds in the entrance hall, suitable for children, and a sofa bed in the studio. There is so much to do in Villard de Lans and the Vercors region in the Summer season. There are lots of hiking trails, including the "Grande Traversée du Vercors" (GTV). A donkey owner even proposes hiking trails with a long-eared friend to carry your bags ! Other popular sports in Villard sports are canyoning, caving, paragliding and mountain biking ( the studio has a locked cellar for your bikes). There is a golf course in nearby Corrençon. For the more culturally-inclined, take a short stroll to the village square and soak up the authentic atmosphere of Villard village, without all the ski-lift mechanics of the resort ! The Office de Tourisme will give you information on the geological uniqueness of the mountain range and the history of the region. A visit to the Wartime Resistance museum in Vassieux is well worth it and the drive down there is breathtaking ! Next to the Tourist Office are the ice rink, the swimming pool with slide and a fitness centre with walk-in classes, jacuzzi and sauna facilities. There are numerous restaurants in the village, serving Alpine specialities and plenty of evening time animation organised by the tourist office throughout the Summer holidays. Please note that we do not welcome dogs.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kate (the owner) a message.

    If Kate (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
