The Villa, a building of the early 19th century, it was bought and completely renovated in 1892 by Grunwald, already owns the Grand Hotel Bauer Venice whose Grunwald made the guesthouse. Were the years in which Vittorio Veneto was becoming a popular resort with Spa salso-bromine water iodic, frequented by wealthy and aristocratic Venetian families and the base for excursions to the high plane of Cansiglio and all other destinations of the Dolomites nearby. The Villa became the property of the family 1930 Chandler, is situated in the Centre of town, overlooking a park in over 5000 sq.m., where you can stand or walk in absolute stillness in the shade of old trees trees such as Oaks, magnolias, ginkobiloba, Linden, beeches and pines.
The apartment offered in tourist location is on two floors and comprises: ground floor of a large entrance from the street, a suite with a fireplace and a sitting area with a TV, a seating area with sofas and large dining table, a spacious old kitchen perfectly equipped and a bathroom with shower; on the second floor a large living room decorated and frescoed by Piero Payetta (1845-1911), reachable from the garden with a beautiful and spectacular Palladian double staircase, a curious Japanese bedroom is adjacent to the living room (maybe once smoke room), three spacious and comfortable double bedrooms and two bathrooms-comfortable shower.
